Paul Layne | Managing Principal
With over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, Paul has overseen some of the largest transactions in Houston and across the U.S., including landmark office towers, multifamily, mixed-use developments, and master planned communities such as The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), Bridgeland (Houston, TX), and Summerlin (Las Vegas, NV). His career has spanned leadership roles at Brookfield Properties, Trizec Properties, and Prime Asset Management, and was the former CEO of the Howard Hughes Corporation, a $4 billion publicly traded company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Houston and completed the Advanced Commercial Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Paul is deeply committed to community service and philanthropic leadership. He has served on more than 20 nonprofit boards focused on empowering underserved populations, including Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory High School, Covenant House, and Catholic Charities of Greater Houston. He holds a lifetime appointment as a Trustee of The Scanlan Foundation and currently serves on the St. Dominic's Center Board and the ULI Houston Advisory Board. Paul's dedication to education, youth support, and community development reflects a lifelong passion for driving meaningful, positive change in the communities where he lives and works.
Kevin Layne | Vice President
Kevin Layne joined Layne Property Partners in April of 2022 and brings with him more than ten years of commercial real estate development, finance, and operations experience. He leads the LPP team in identifying new acquisition and development opportunities. Kevin was most recently with the Signorelli Company where he served as Senior Vice President of the Multifamily Division. In his tenure with Signorelli, Kevin was instrumental in the development and leasing of Valley Ranch Town Center, one of the largest mixed-use developments completed in Texas in recent years. Kevin also led the Signorelli Company team in launching several Opportunity Zone Funds representing over $150,000,000 of new development across the funds.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University and is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers, and Houston’s Young Professionals in Finance.

Corey is in charge of acquisitions, leasing, development and operations of Blue HIlls at Round Top and The Original Round Top Antiques Fair. Acquired in the fall of 2017, the highly successful antique venue has almost doubled in revenue and leasable square feet under Corey’s leadership and hard work on the ground.

At Layne Property Partners, Corey advises commercial real estate occupiers on leasing office and retail space in the Greater Houston Area. He works closely with Paul on tenant advisory services and specialty development projects.
